Israeli troops attack paramedics during protest

Palestinians clashed with Israeli forces on Monday (12March) against Israeli measures towards university students. Students from Birzeit University protested against Israeli forces raid into the university last week, during the protest they blocked a street that leads to an Israeli checkpoint in Al-Berieh near the West Bank city of Ramallah. Israeli forces dispersed Palestinians who were throwing stones with tear gas and rubber bullets. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry eight protesters were injured by live ammunition bullets. Israeli special forces raided Birzeit University on Wednesday (7 March) and arrested head of student council -Omar Al-Kiswani.
