PSNI investigate sudden death of local man

Tonight the PSNI have revealed they are investigating the circumstances relating to the sudden death of a man in Beechmount.

31-year-old Sean Corrigan was discovered on Saturday in the apartment he moved into only a few months ago. He originally came from the Springhill area and worked as a porter in the nearby Royal Victoria Hospital. Colleagues are said to be devastated by his death and described him as a lovely fella.

Initially he was rushed to hospital with a suspected brain aneurysm.  Unfortunately he passed away and his family made the choice to donate his organs.

A local woman who lives in St Mary’s Gardens where Mr Corrigan lived, said she knew his face but didn’t know him to talk to saying “he kept himself to himself”.  She said the whole estate was shocked to hear the news of his death being suspicious.
